Arthur Richardson III, Independent from Tampa, FL, desires to be elected Mayor of Tampa, FL in 2011. He is currently running for his first term as Mayor of Tampa.

Born on September 19, 1978, in Miami, FL Arthur spent his early childhood with his family in Zolfo Springs, FL then to Tampa where he finished high school and started college at Hillsborough Community College, growing up in a business and farming family Arthur wishes to bring his values and experiences to the Mayor's Office.  Arthur has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Bethune-Cookman University, he also was a member of Students in Free Enterprise (S.I.F.E.), a member of the Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc, and a MOD Lodge#580 member.

 After graduating from Bethune-Cookman University with a degree in Business Admin/Marketing he pursued his MBA at the Univ. of Phoenix, Arthur worked as a Branch Manager and loan officer in the Finance department of well-known mortgage companies. He gained solid analytical and problem-solving skills there. Arthur was responsible for identifying and resolving financial reporting issues, as well as generating innovative methods to improve their processes. Arthur also fine-tuned his communication and profit building skills, he often needed to present and market his work to middle and upper management. Finally, during his last couple years of employment, Arthur took on a team leadership role, managing the daily work of twelve junior executives of their team and took an active role in training new hires.

In 2007 Arthur Richardson III campaigned to become Mayor of Tampa which was upsided by Mayor Pam Iorio. Since then Arthur Richardson III became the Vice-President & CFO of Undiscovered Records in Tampa, FL. Arthur is married to Danielle F Richardson and has one son Arthur J. Richardson IV.

Known as a fighter by his constituents and colleagues focusing on issues that are key to economic development and growth Arthur will help bring jobs and opportunities throughout the city of Tampa.
